Amira
Farah was purchased
to be my personal riding mare in 1998. I trained
her myself and enjoy riding her. She was previously owned by
the
late Marion Roth of Villa Dshams Arabians. Marion generously
shared photographs and stories about five generations of Amira's
ancestors. I still refer to the invaluable insight into the
breeding lines that Marion was so wonderful to share with me. In 2003,
I was contacted by Amira's breeder, Loraine Snyder,
who also was extremely generous in sharing Amira's history with me.
Amira was bred by Loraine Snyder using the Culliton's Sun
Shadows
stallion, Amir Farah, and theVilla Dshams Arabian program's lovely
mare, Demelza Dshams. Amira Farah clearly shows the influence
of
moderate line-breeding to the great stallion Gulastra. She is
a
Gulastra great-grand-daughter through her sire line, and that close-up
influence is expressed in her movement and overall bearing.
Amira
bears a striking family resemblance to historical Gulastra-bred
mares.
Like most horses of high percentage Crabbet bloodlines, she
exhibits traits in keeping with the heavy influence of
Skowronek/Raffles, but it is the Gulastra influence that distinguishes
her from Skowronek/Raffles horses blended with other lines.
Amira
Farah is a clear reflection of the breeding programs that
produced her.
We highly value the incredible
fluidity, elegant length of stride, and sweet nature of this fine mare; we are honored to have her in our program.

In 2005, Amira Farah
was
bred to AM Ghost
Ship, an outstanding
AM Sea Captain son owned
by Melanie Johnson of Payback Ranch
Arabians
Our fabulous 2005 filly,
FCF
Gossamer Jewell, was also sired by Ghost Ship.
On July 15th, 2006, Amira delivered a fantastic
colt,
FCF
Gossamer Prince. This flashy chestnut with
four white stockings is a dynamo! In late August of 2006, Amira was bred to
Naibara
Blaze Man, the sire of
AAA Legend ofthe Seas.

On August 4, 2007,
Amira gave birth to a
wonderful filly, FCF Faerie Fire, by Naibara
Blaze Man!
This cross of proven old CMK bloodlines produced a filly that exibits
the athleticism, exemplary movement, great structure, sweet
temperament, and elegance indicated by the elements of her
fine
pedigree.

News: Amira Farah will be bred to the
ATA approved Arabian stallion, Aul Magic,
in 2008. We are incredibly excited about this cross because based on
the previous producton records of the sire and of the dam, the
resulting foal is likely to exhibit the powerful movement and
athleticism of Aul Magic combined with the elegant grace of Amira
Farah.
